The Center of the Arts San Agustin or CaSa is an art center founded by Francisco Toledo, dedicated to artistic formation, creation and experimentation, located in the Vista Hermosa neighborhood of the town of San Agustin Etla, 17 km north of the city of Oaxaca de Juarez.
A beautiful 18th-century building, originally built as the Conventof Santa Maria de los Ángeles to provide shelter for the Capuchinnuns, also known as "Cacicas". It is currently a space dedicated to the promotion of artistic and cultural activities.
Built in the 18th century, it is known as Juarez House, but it was actually owned by Don Antonio de Salanueva, his protector. Juarez lived there from 1819 to 1834, where he served as a house hold helper and apprentice bookbinder, to later become the Benemerito de las Americas.
The Temple of Santo Domingo de Guzmán in the city of Oaxaca de Juárez (Mexico) is an example of Novohispanic baroque architecture. The first construction projects for the building date back to 1551, when the City Council of Antequera de Oaxaca ceded a total of twenty-four lots for the construction of a convent in the city to the Dominican Order. However, it was not until 1608 that the Santo Domingo convent complex was inaugurated, still unfinished.
The Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption in the city of Oaxaca, Mexico, is the seatof the Archdiocese of Antequera. Its construction began in 1535, and the temple was consecrated on July 12, 1733. It is dedicated to Our Lady of the Assumption.

Hierve el Agua is composed of a series of petrified waterfalls characterized by their white color and immensity (measuringover 200 meters in height). They were formed millions of years ago by carbonated water runoff, whose flowor iginates from the springs at the top of the ravine. In turn, these springs create a unique spectacle: pools of warm, turquoise-colored water that are used as natural spas (and as an incredible setting for taking photos!).
Atzompa, from Nahuatl, means 'At the top ofthewater'. It was one of the monumental complexes of Monte Albán. Its occupation dates from 650 to 900 AD. A peculiarity of this archaeological zone is the existence of threeball game courts very close to eachother.
The Zaachila Archaeological Zone is important because it is considered the last capital of Zapotec power. By the time of the Conquest, sources tell us that it was under the control of the Mixtecs, a factc on firmed through the discoveries found in twoo fitstombs.
